Hantavirus -- Panama
Dr. German Solis, Regional Health Director in the Los Santos province, this [Fri 24 Feb 2017] confirmed the 1st case of hantavirus fever.
According to the Director, the patient is from the Tonosi area in Los Santos [province]. The 75 years old person affected by [a] hantavirus [infection] is however is progressing satisfactorily and currently is in stable condition.
This will be the 1st person confirmed with hantavirus fever in 2017 in the Los Santos province.
