Anthrax -- Turkey
Just after the end of the Eid al-Adha religious holiday in August [2018], Turkey was gripped by a series of reports of an anthrax outbreak. The 1st came from a farm near Ankara, followed by reports from 6 other cities around the country, including Istanbul. Despite reassurances from government officials, people are still uneasy.
