Hantavirus -- Albania
This is just to clarify about the HFRS [hantavirus hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome] cases in Albania. None of them was diagnosed as Dobrava with PCR for Dobrava serotype [virus]. Both cases were IgM and IgG positive for hantaviruses with ELISA. The case coming from Macedonia was doing seasonal work in a Macedonian village.
