Avian Influenza H7N9 -- China
According to the HFPC [Health and Family Planning Commission] of Gansu, 2 new human H7N9 AIV [avian influenza virus] cases have been confirmed:
- a 43 year old female who lived in Ganzhou district of Zhangye city of Gansu province;
- a 47 year old female who lived in Suzhou district of Jiuquan city of Gansu province.
Both patients had live poultry contact history as they all worked in live poultry slaughter house in their cities.
