West Nile Virus -- Romania
A total of 80 people were infected with the West Nile virus in Romania between 1 May 1 and 29 Sep this year [2016], and 8 of them died, according to data published on the National Public Health Institute's website, Romania-Insider reports.
The 8 people who died after being infected with the West Nile virus were from Bucharest and Braila, Ialomita, Iasi, Mures, and Teleorman counties, reports local Agerpres. One of the fatal cases was registered in early August [2016]. Most cases of
