Ebola -- DR Congo
The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has tracked 2 new Ebola cases, raising the outbreak's resurgence total to 5 cases [note WHO most recent case number is 6] that have emerged just as the country was poised to announce an end to an outbreak that began in August 2018.
All 5 of the recent cases have been in Beni, one of the hot spots of the outbreak.
Yesterday [16 Apr 2020] demonstrations broke out across Beni as citizens criticized the government's response to the flare-up of cases
