East Valley Equine Practitioners (EVEP) reported earlier this week a horse in their care in Queen Creek has tested positive for "equine enteric coronavirus."
"This is not a common virus found in horses, and there is no vaccine for it. It is NOT related to the human form from China," according to EVEP.
They noticed the horse wasn't eating, acting colicky and had a fever of over 104 F [40 C].
