Equine Herpes Virus -- United States
One horse, a gelding, in Snohomish County, Washington, was confirmed with equine herpesvirus (EHV), according to a report from the Washington Department of Agriculture on the Equine Disease Communication Center.
The 11-year-old warmblood gelding had onset of clinical signs on 1 Mar 2019, and confirmation of EHV was reported on 5 Mar 2019. Those signs included intermittent fever. The gelding was vaccinated and now is recovering.
