Lassa Fever -- Nigeria
- In the reporting week 1 (1-6 Jan 2019) 25 new confirmed cases were reported from Edo (9), Ondo (8), Bauchi (3), FCT (1), Nasarawa (1), Ebonyi (1), Plateau (1) and Taraba (1) states, with 7 new deaths in Ondo (2), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1), Plateau (1), FCT (1) and Taraba (1) states.
- From 1-6 Jan 2019, a total of 57 suspected cases have been reported. Of these, 25 were confirmed positive and 32 negative (not a case).
