Avian Influenza -- Russia
The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance reports on
the registration of avian influenza in the territory of the Republic of
Tatarstan.
As a result of laboratory studies carried out by FGBU "VNIIZH" on [Tue 9 May 2017], the genome of the avian influenza virus of the subtype H5 was isolated in a pathological material selected from poultry kept in LLC "Pticecomplex Laishevsky" (25 October village, Laishevsky district, Republic of Tatarstan)
