Scrub Typhus -- Nepal
Dengue and scrub typhus are spreading at an alarming rate in Nepalgunj [Banke District, Province Five] with more than 70 patients treated at Bheri Zonal Hospital and Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital.
Among the patients arriving at Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital, 50 were treated for scrub typhus while 8 were treated for dengue, said Hospital's Director, Dr M Kidabai, adding that most of the patients have returned home while some have been referred to Kathmandu and India's
