Avian Influenza -- China
The Health and Family Planning Commission of Jiangxi Province has reported a human H9N2 case during routine influenza-like illness surveillance.
The patient, a 4 year old girl, who lives in Pingxiang city [Jiangxi province], has now fully recovered. The patient was diagnosed as human H9N2 case on [19 Aug 2016] by expert committee based on clinical symptoms, lab result, together with epidemiology investigation.
