Rift Valley Fever -- China
China's health authority has confirmed an imported case of Rift Valley fever (RVF), the 1st of this kind, in a middle-aged man coming back from Angola.
The 45-year-old man from Henan Province got fever and headache and suffered pains of his joints and muscles on 14 Jul [2016] in Angola, the National Health and Family Planning Commission (NHFPC) said Sunday [24 Jul 2016].
On 21 Jul [2016], he returned to Beijing by plane and was admitted to a local hospital for quarantine and treatment.
