As of 13:00 [1 PM] today [5 Jul 2016], there have been a total of:
1433 laboratory-confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection, including
600 deaths [reported case fatality rate 41.9 percent]
804 recoveries, and
27 currently active cases [including 16 asymptomatic infections].
Since the last ProMED-mail update on 3 Jul 2016, there have been:
2 newly confirmed cases,
1 newly reported fatality, and
4 newly reported recoveries.
