A 7-yearl-old [girl] who died on Sat 18 Jun 2016 due to diphtheria had contracted the disease on 10 Jun 2016.
Malacca Health Department director Datuk Dr Ghazali Othman said the girl was only brought to the Malacca Hospital for treatment on 17 Jun 2016. He said that by that time, the girl was in critical condition due to complications.
