As of 12:00 noon today [3 Jun 2016], there have been a total of:
1384 laboratory-confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection, including
592 deaths [reported case fatality rate 42.8 percent]
790 recoveries, and
2 currently active cases
Information on newly reported case:
- An 85-year-old Saudi female from Riyadh, non-healthcare worker, currently in stable condition. Classification is as a primary case, but history of exposure to camel is not known.
