Yellow Fever -- Angola
The head of the Department of Public Health and Epidemic Control, Telma Diogo, announced today, [Wed 17 Feb 2016], that 8 deaths have occurred among 41 suspected yellow fever cases registered from January [2016] to date in Huila province. These data were presented in a meeting between health technicians and the Huila vice governor for the political and social sector, Maria Joao Chipalavela, to evaluate the proposed contingency plan for control of the disease.
