Lassa Fever -- Nigeria
Ogun state government has announced the death of the 1st Lassa fever victim on [Sun 14 Feb 2016], just as it confirmed that another person has been diagnosed of the disease. The state commissioner for health, Dr Babatunde Ipaye, at a news conference on Sunday evening [14 Feb 2016], said the dead person was expected to complete her medication on Sunday before the death.
