Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease -- China
The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health is today [30 Nov 2015] investigating an outbreak of hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) at a children's residential home in Mong Kok [Kowloon], and hence appealed to the public to maintain strict personal and environmental hygiene.
The 21 affected children, 13 boys and 8 girls aged from 6 to 31 months, have developed fever, oral ulcer, and rash on hands and feet since [23 Nov 2015]. All of them sought medical attention and one
