Avian Influenza H5N8 -- United Kingdom
The comment in the ProMED-mail posting archive number: http://bit.ly/2gLyoz3 is incorrect in that we have not detected H5N8 HPAI in the UK recently. I think you have picked up a press release from 2014, not 2016.
Please correct this immediately because we are already getting queries from trading partners who are concerned that we have not followed the correct notification procedures. I suggest deleting the whole block of text since it is old news.
