Chikungunya -- Pakistan
A total of 3 cases of the chikungunya virus [infections] have been confirmed in the provincial capital of Sindh. The cases of 11-, 9- and 45-year-old were confirmed by the National Institute of Health in Islamabad as the 1st victims of the virus.
Initially the Health Department had taken 10 blood samples of 5 patients.
