Minnesota health officials say a Carver County cat has been confirmed to be infected with the virus causing COVID-19. It's the 1st confirmed case in a cat in the state.
On Tuesday [2 Jun 2020], the Minnesota Board of Animal Health released the findings, saying the cat was confirmed to be infected with coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) 7 days after its owner was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.
