Whooping Cough -- United States
The Cerro Gordo County [Iowa] Department of Public Health is investigating several cases of pertussis, or whooping cough, in the county. According to a press release, the department of health has positively identified 7 cases.
Those cases were identified in the Mason City Community School District and the McDonald's south restaurant. The department of health is continuing to investigate and is working with the Mason City school district and McDonald's to protect the health of the
