- Solomon Islands: As of 11 Dec 2016, there have been 6294 cases of dengue since 15 Aug 2016. Recent samples sent to ESR, NZ for confirmation identified Dengue serotype-2 in 60 percent of samples sent. In the week ending 11 Dec 2016 there were 36 hospitalised cases, with no deaths reported.
