White spot disease was found to be infecting prawns in another farm on the Logan river on Friday [30 Dec 2016].
A 5th prawn farm has tested positive for the highly contagious virus more than a month after the initial case was identified.
The farm has been destocked, and chlorine was being used to treat the water at the premises 4 km down river from the 1st case.
Biosecurity Queensland has ramped up surveillance at nearby farms and locations in an effort to keep the virus in
