Hepatitis C -- Turkey
Some 18 renal patient receiving dialysis treatments at a health center in the Kapaklı district of the north western Turkish province of Tekirdağ have been diagnosed with hepatitis C, prompting the center to halt new patient intakes. After 2 patients were diagnosed with the virus in June 2016 and 4 more patients were diagnosed in August 2016, the Turkish Kidney Foundation requested inspections at its Kadriye and Kenan Tunalı Dialysis Center.
