Health authorities have issued a warning for West Australians to be on alert for measles after a passenger flying from Tokyo to Perth, via Singapore, was diagnosed with the infection.
WA [West Australia] Health Medical Epidemiologist Dr Gary Dowse said the male passenger was infectious to other passengers after he had been holidaying in Japan.
Dr Dowse said the passenger could have also infected other people who came into contact with him at several other Perth locations.
