Measles -- Republic of Macedonia
A case of measles was detected at Gevgelija migrant reception center in southern Macedonia, medical staff confirmed on Wed [4 May 2016].
The epidemiologists and infectious diseases specialists declared that the patient was a 3-year-old girl from Afghanistan, who received appropriate medical treatment.
They have also provided the medical team at the Gevgelija reception center with advice on further treatment and prevention from spreading the infectious illness.
