Canine Influenza -- United States
Two dogs with canine influenza have died as the outbreak continues to sicken hundreds of dogs in the Bloomington-Normal area [Illinois], veterinarians said Monday [16 May 2016].
However, the number of new cases appears to be declining and most dogs are responding to treatment, said Dr. Kirsten Pieper of the Animal Emergency Clinic of McLean County.
