The Public Health Virology laboratory (PHV), Forensic and Scientific Services, Queensland Health have reported the isolation of the rodent-borne arenavirus, lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV), from products of conception tissue taken from a 28-year-old woman, residing in southern Queensland (QLD).
