Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease -- United States
New York's Department of Environmental Conservation has confirmed a large outbreak of epizootic hemorrhagic disease in whitetail deer this week, with reports of approximately 700 dead whitetails. The EHD outbreak has been confirmed in 7 counties: Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Nassau, Oswego, Suffolk, and Ulster.
