Lumpy Skin Disease -- Bangladesh
Livestock officials have asked dairy farmers not to panic after lumpy skin disease [LSD], which is characterised by nodules on the skin, has spread in cattle farms in Chattogram [Chittagong]. The disease was detected for the 1st time in Bangladesh at a farm in Karnaphuli Upazila's Shikalbaha in July [2019], according to Mohammad Reazul Haque, Chattogram district livestock officer.
