Hemorrhagic Fever -- India
A 35 year old man died of Kyasanur Forest disease (KFD), also known as monkey fever, at KMC hospital in Manipal on Monday [4 Mar 2019].
The deceased was a resident of Bannumane village in Aralagodu Gram Panchayat jurisdiction in Sagar taluk. With this, the death toll due to KFD has risen to 11 in the last 4 months.
