Shigellosis -- Guam [USA]
The Department of Public Health and Social Services is monitoring an outbreak of shigellosis on Guam. Shigellosis is an infectious disease caused by a group of bacteria called _Shigella_. Most who are infected with _Shigella_ develop diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps starting a day or 2 after they are exposed to the bacteria.
