Avian Influenza H7N9 -- China
The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) today [12 Feb 2018] received notification of an additional human case of avian influenza A(H7N9) from the Health and Family Planning Commission of Guangdong Province, and reminded the public to maintain strict personal, food and environmental hygiene both locally and during travel especially in the upcoming Lunar New Year [Fri 16 Feb 2018] holidays.
The case occurred in Zhongshan and this is the 1st case in Guangdong
