Government and private veterinarians are working around the clock to identify the cause of hundreds of reported incidents of cattle abortions in the Windhoek district [Namibia]. The reports originate from various farms, with losses ranging from 5 to 45 and even 128 on certain farms. It is suspected the incidents of abortion are occurring more widely than reported.
