Canine distemper -- United States
The Martinsville Henry County SPCA is warning about possible distemper outbreak. Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) director Nicole Harris said they have had 5 cases of animals acting suspiciously since [Sat 18 Mar 2017] and a total of 15 in the last few months. In many cases, animals such as foxes, raccoons and skunks are walking up to people.
Pet owners are encouraged to take extra precautions as this disease is contagious. "Your canines especially your outside canines.
