Avian Influenza H5N8 -- Slovenia
After a case of bird flu was confirmed in Pragersko in the northeast of Slovenia on Wednesday [4 Jan 2017], another dead swan has tested positive for the virus subtype H5N8, the Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection said on Sunday [8 Jan 2017].
The swan was found in Maribor.
