Rabies -- Philippines
The Philippines struggles with human rabies cases, ranking number 10 among the top countries with human rabies deaths. During the 6 months of 2016, the Philippines province of Pangasinan has reported 14 390 animal bite cases and 14 human rabies deaths. To put this into context, in all of 2015, the province saw 19 037 animal bite cases and 19 human rabies deaths.
