Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease -- Malaysia
The Sarawak Health Department has recorded a marked increase in the number of cases of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) from 1-19 Jan 2019 compared to the same period last year [2018].
State Health Director Dr Jamilah Hashim, in a press release yesterday [24 Jan 2019], said 615 HFMD cases were recorded in the 1st 19 days of this year [2019], a marked increase over the 112 cases recorded during the same period last year.
