Millions of bats across the nation are dying while wildlife organizations are getting funding to fight the disease responsible.
This year [2018], for the 1st time, the fungus that causes white-nose syndrome [WNS] was found in Central Texas. This is a concern for Austin as bats are iconic to the city.
