As of 14:00 [2:00 PM] today [Thu 1 Jun 2017], there have been a total of:
1615 laboratory-confirmed cases of MERS-CoV infection, including
665 deaths [reported case fatality rate 41.2 per cent],
942 recoveries, and
8 currently active cases
