A human H7N9 AIV [avian influenza virus] case was reported in Anyuan county of Ziyang city of Sichuan province on [8 Apr 2017]. The Sichuan provincial centre for disease control [CDC] confirmed the positive result of H7N9 in [a] patient sample on the night of [7 Apr 2017].
