Muscat: The Ministry of Health confirmed today the diagnosis of a new case of the Middle East respiratory syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), which makes this the 7th such case to be reported among the overall instances reported in the Sultanate, with the last being detected in May 2015.
The patient is said to be in the 40s and is suffering from acute pneumonia and high temperature, but is currently in a stable condition and under medical care at 1 of the referral
