African Swine Fever -- Bulgaria
African swine fever (ASF) jumped from the village of Apriltsi in Pazardzhik to a family farm in a neighboring village, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) announced.
The outbreak of ASF was detected in a pig farm with 40 animals in the village of Sbor, Pazardzhik region. The settlement is located in the 3-kilometer [1.86 miles] protection zone around the first announced outbreak (on 18 Aug 2021) in the village of Apriltsi.
