At least 6 cases of cholera were reported on Sunday [30 May 2021] among the displaced people in the city of Sake, about 26 kilometers [16 miles] north of Goma, capital of North Kivu province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), after the eruption of the Nyiragongo volcano nearby on 22 May 2021.
