Measles -- United States
The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) today [23 Apr 2021] said it has confirmed a 2nd case of measles in a Fairfield County child. The child did not attend school while infectious. The child is a household contact of the child who contracted the 1st case of measles announced on 9 Apr 2021. DPH is collaborating with local partners to identify contacts and implement appropriate control measures. These are the 1st cases of measles in Connecticut since 2019.
