African Swine Fever -- Philippines
At least 12 villages in Dulag, Leyte have been placed under strict surveillance due to new cases of African swine fever (ASF), the Department of Agriculture (DA) announced on Sunday [31 Jan 2021]. These villages are within the 7 to 10 km (4.3 to 6.2 mi) radius of a confirmed ASF case in Combis village as validated by the result of a laboratory test released on 29 Jan 2021.
