Equine Influenza -- United States
On 1 Dec 2020, an attending veterinarian confirmed a horse at a private facility in Clackamas County, Oregon, with equine influenza (EI). The 13-year-old Paint gelding, which was undervaccinated, began showing clinical signs on [26 Nov 2020]. Signs consisted of mild fever, nasal discharge, and mild cough. A voluntary quarantine has been enacted on his premises. No other horses were exposed.
