Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever -- Iran
Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) has claimed 5 lives in the country since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (21 Mar [2020]), director of zoonotic diseases management office at the Ministry of Health has said.
Behzad Amiri said that over the past 5 months, 38 people have been diagnosed with the disease but were cured and survived death.
